J. Goff and company again proved they can score points and acculmuate offensive yardage. However, Arizona Cardinals are not NFL defensive powershouses. On the flip side, even discounting Cardinal’s late game possesions and yardage, Lion’s overall defense gave up significant yardage. Time of possesion was almost even.

Positive takeaways include minimumn ‘dumb penalties’, solid pass routes/receptions and mostly solid basic tacklng and blocking. Goff had time to work progressions and offensive line executed. Did notice that Cardinal’s pass rush seemed to lack extended elevated arm extension letting Goff avoid lofted passing except for the spectular throw to J. Williams. And J. Gibbs learned the hard way about pass blocking for Goff.

Additionaly, once Lions had control of game tempo, they did not letup until time made any Cardinal efforts errelvent.
