Sayonara and good riddance

Game stats demonstrated Lion’s inability to ‘close out’ a game without drama at games’ end. Four field goals and a single touchdown. Big edge on time of possesion, blow out on first downs and edge on total yardage.

Bear’s pass defense allowed J. Goff to focus on A. St. Brown and J. Williams for almost 2/3rds of his pass attempts. Combo of Lion’s running duo did their part. Why then all the dramatics at the end. Simple answer is Lions lack the ‘kick them while their down’ capability. How you fix this is an ongoing vexing issue. Giving second chances to opponents by any means is how you go from 15-2 to 9-8.
